I call into question the extreme level of aggression the police chose as a means to de-escalate any so called conflict

I have a photograph taken on the lawn of the Allen County Courthouse at 3:51 p.m. This photograph pictures a baby crawling on the grass, and a boy of 4-5 years old, kneeling and playing with her. I believe this demonstrates the nature of the protest I witnessed that day, (my first), calm and peaceful, with people of all ages in attendance, and also the grave danger the police placed these children in had they been trying to flee the area with their parents and caught as innocent bystanders.
I call into question the extreme level of aggression the police chose as a means to de-escalate any so called conflict, as well as call into question how far they went to protect the general public from harm before launching gas into the area.
