We watched as one canister, fired by police, broke a courthouse window

I went to use the bathroom and meet up with my girlfriend who was joining me for the protest. We were walking back up to the protest, and without warning I was shot in the stomach with a canister of tear gas. As we backed away, police continued to fire tear gas and less lethal rounds without warning. We watched as one canister, fired by police, broke a courthouse window. As fellow protesters were trying to give me medical assistance, police continued to fire tear gas and LL rounds towards us. There was no communication from police on what to do.
